I enjoy painting the contrasting colors of a Blue Crab. They are popular to catch and eat on the North Carolina Coast where I spend much of my time. It pays to wear protective gloves when handling them because they are always ready for a fight. This small acrylic painting is done in a loose, carefree style that I enjoy. It is 6”x6” and is painted on 1/8” gessobord.
