These embracing pears are from a still life that I set up with my grandmother’s lace tablecloth. I love old treasures that have been passed down to me. I like to think of all the fellowship that has taken place through the years around this cloth. I also always love the way complimentary colors, red and green in this case, enhance and play off of each other. This is an 8”x10” acrylic painting on canvas from my recent “Fresh Produce” series.
